Caños de Meca is a small town belonging to Barbate that came about from it´s beautiful beaches and cliffs as well as it´s nearness to the Natural Park of La Brena. Nudist beaches, golden sand beaches and everything to your liking. La Brena and Tombolo have an important history with the Cape of Trafalgar. Canos de Meca is a paradise for those of you who want to stay in a place not heavily visited by tourist and over massification of people. This is part of the region of Andalusia in Southern Spain that we highly recommend you visit.

The name of Los Canos was given due to natural sweet water springs that fall from this beaches´cliffs. In them, the fusion of fresh water with the rock produces mud that is used by many for their skin for it´s great cleansing properties. The access to this area is a bit complicated, and it is only possible to get there when the tide is low. The beachs of Canos de Meca area nationally and internationally known for it´s nudist spots, virgin beaches and for Trafalgar where the battle took place. It has a great small town atmosphere. It does however have plenty of apartments and hotels for the growing tourism rates.

In Canos de Meca you´ll also find another well known beach called Playa de Zahora. This area of Andalusia in southern Spain is very beautiful. Barbate, and Canos de Meca are well worth seeing.
